Fund Summary

The investment seeks to provide competitive long-term returns while maintaining low long-term volatility relative to the broad global equity market. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings, if any, for investment purposes) in equity securities. SSGA Funds Management, Inc. ("SSGA FM" or the "Adviser"), the investment adviser to the fund, seeks to select a portfolio of securities that the Advisor expects over the long term to exhibit low volatility both in absolute terms and in comparison with the MSCI World Index and provide competitive returns as compared with the index.
