Minafi's finances are an open book. Find out how I make money.

This site makes money in a few ways:

  • Affiliate links to products I recommend

Actually, that’s the only way right now. Later on, I might also include advertising or sell products, but for today it’s just affiliates.

These generally fall into a few categories of products:

  • Links to products on Amazon.
  • Links to financial service products that I think are worth checking out.
  • Links to other things that I think would be beneficial for you.

I personally get very annoyed when I’m reading an article and I can’t tell what’s an affiliate link and what’s a link to another site the author recommends. For that reason, links are a little different here on Minafi.

If you see a link like this one to Personal Capital, then that’s an affiliate link. You’ll notice it’s green rather than the usual blue links within articles. It also shows a handy tooltip when you hover over it just in case.

I don’t guarantee that every single link on Minafi will have this style, but it’s my absolute best intent that each one does. If you spot an affiliate link without one please let me know and I will promptly fix it.

I won’t sell any personal data you enter on this site — comments, FIRE guide responses, or anything else.
