The investment seeks to achieve long-term growth of capital. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing under normal circumstances at least 80% of its assets (net assets plus the amount of any borrowings made for investment purposes) in a diversified portfolio of equity securities of U.S. companies within the range of securities of the S&P SmallCap 600 Index ("index") at the time of initial purchase.
