The investment seeks maximum total return, consistent with preservation of capital and prudent investment management. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in currencies of, or in Fixed Income Instruments denominated in the currencies of, emerging market countries, and in short-term investments. The fund's investments in currencies or Fixed Income Instruments, including short-term investments, may be represented by forwards or derivatives such as options, futures contracts or swap agreements. It may invest in the currencies and Fixed Income Instruments of emerging market countries.
