Fund Summary

The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund mainly invests in common stocks of "growth companies." Growth companies are companies whose earnings and stock prices are expected to increase at a faster rate than the overall market. It primarily invests in securities of U.S. issuers but may also invest in foreign securities. The fund may also invest up to 10% of its net assets in emerging countries, i.e., those that are in the early stages of their industrial cycles.
