The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by making intermediate and long-term investments in domestic, publicly-traded equity securities of small capitalization companies. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets (plus the amount of borrowings, if any) will be invested in securities of small capitalization companies ("80% investment policy").
