Fund Summary

The investment seeks to achieve long-term after-tax returns for investors. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of issuers located in the U.S. It invests primarily in equity securities (generally common and preferred stocks) of large U.S. companies. First Quadrant manages the fund's portfolio with the intent to minimize taxable distributions to shareholders and applies a variety of tax-sensitive investment techniques.
