Fund Summary

The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund generally invests in equity securities of small-capitalization domestic and foreign issuers, including securities of issuers located in emerging markets countries, i.e., those that are in the early stages of their industrial cycle. It may invest up to 10% of its net assets in fixed-income securities such as investment-grade debt securities and longer-term U.S. government securities.
