The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund normally invests in equity securities of companies of any market capitalization and traded in U.S. markets. It generally takes long positions in equity securities identified as undervalued and take short positions in equity securities identified as overvalued. Each long or short position will be determined by considering the tradeoff between the attractiveness of each position and its impact on the risk of the overall portfolio.
