The investment seeks a total return that exceeds the rate of inflation over an economic cycle. The fund seeks its investment objective by investing primarily in inflation-protected debt securities that the sub-adviser, Wellington Management Company LLP, considers to be attractive from a real yield perspective consistent with total return. It normally invests at least 65% of its net assets in U.S. dollar-denominated inflation-protected debt securities issued by the U.S. Treasury.
