Fund Summary

The investment seeks a high level of current income. Under normal circumstances, the fund's investment manager, Delaware Management Company (Manager), will invest at least 80% of the fund's net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in U.S. and foreign debt securities, including those in emerging markets (80% policy). The fund may invest up to 100% of its net assets in foreign securities, including emerging markets securities. Its total non-U.S. dollar currency exposure may reach 100% of net assets.
