The investment seeks current income with capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in the equity securities (including common stocks, preferred stocks, real estate investment trusts ("REITs") and master limited partnerships ("MLPs")) of domestic and foreign, including emerging market, small capitalization companies (either by investing directly or indirectly through other investment companies) that are traded on a U.S. exchange, writing put options on such securities, and writing covered call options on securities held in its portfolio.
