Fund Summary

The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in equity securities of companies in emerging (less developed) markets and other investments that are tied economically to emerging markets. Generally these investments include common stock, preferred and preference stock, depositary receipts, participation notes or warrants, and exchange-traded funds that invest in emerging markets. It may invest up to 10% of total fund assets in companies in less developed emerging markets not included in the MSCI EM Index.
