Fund Summary

The investment seeks current income and, secondarily, capital appreciation. The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in the securities of real estate and real estate-related issuers, and in derivatives and other instruments that have economic characteristics similar to such securities. It may invest up to 30% of its net assets in below-investment grade securities (commonly known as "junk bonds") of real estate and real-estate related issuers.
