The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by normally investing at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings made for investment purposes) in securities and instruments that are tied economically to emerging market countries and by investing at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings made for investment purposes) in securities of companies in the consumer and consumer-related sectors.
