The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by normally investing at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings made for investment purposes) in securities and instruments that are tied economically to emerging market countries and by investing at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings made for investment purposes) in companies with market capitalizations comparable to those of companies included in the MSCI Emerging Markets Small Cap Index.
