About This Course

There are four functional parts of investing that are key to a solid investment approach. Learning each of these was a “wow” moment for me – something that caused me to step back and say “really?”.

The four points that this course tackles are:

  • Compound Interest. A quick look at just how impactful compound interest can be – especially when you’re also adding additional deposits.
  • Diversification. There are few guarantees when it comes to investing. A diversified portfolio being in the middle of the pack year after year is one sure shot.
  • Fees. You’re going to pay to invest, but you don’t have to overpay. We’ll look into the most common fees in the investment world – including which ones you should run away from at full speed.
  • Taxes. You do have to pay taxes, but you don’t have to overpay! Pay the right amount of taxes and no more.

This course is in some ways an expansion of the same ideas from The Minimal Investor Course with additional context and a deeper dive into each.
